Scott Anvil 100 lbs Square Heel

The Scott Square Heel Anvil is an innovative design that features a wider face, a full size round horn and more compact design than most other 100lb anvils. This compact design keeps more mass under the face of the anvil which makes it work and feel like a much larger, heavier anvil. The smaller footprint makes it a great choice for travel as well as a great shop anvil. Much attention is given to the 4 3/8" x 9" round horn to make sure that it is ground and finished symmetrically without ridges or flat spots. A great choice for farriers and blacksmiths. All Scott Anvils are poured in a Texas foundry. We use a proprietary blend of ductile iron that has all the properties needed to produce the best quality anvils available today. We then grind, machine, heat treat, hand finish and paint each anvil in our shop in Amarillo, Texas. We take great pride in producing the finest quality anvils right here in the USA! Actual weight 105lb, Base 9 1/8" x 6 1/2", Face 12 1/2" x 4 3/8", Horn 4 3/8" wide x 9" long, overall length 21 1/2", Height 9 1/4", Hardy Hole 1", Pritchel Hole 5/8". We recommend dressing the edges of your anvil with a slight radius to help prevent damage from daily use and missed blows. Sharp edges may crack or chip. Always wear safety glasses when working on an anvil.
